Wow, after months on the pre-order list my camera is on it’s way!

but without any P2 cards . . .

It had never occured to me that I would finally get my HVX but not be able to record anything other than SD because there were no cards available. I'm hoping maybe Jan will weigh in on this and tell us what to expect if she's able to.

Don't know what you ordered as far as P2 cards, so I can't tell you. I will say that the 8GB cards are in tighter supply and we prob;laby won't find real relief until after NAB. That is not to say we will not be delivering any, we will but be have huge backordes. Note we have been delivering P2 for now 2 years, and we have a bunch of customers that take 5 at a time. ;-)

Just keep calling various dealers, you'll eventually stumble across some. They are in demand right now... Even though the camera supply is very small compared to demand, the P2 card supply is even smaller! I gave up on finding 8GB cards and I have some on order with B&H - they'll get here when they get here, I guess. So it took me a few days to find a dealer with a couple 4GB cards to hold me over.
