Today on launching Catalyst Browse I got a notice that a newer version was available: 2020.1.0.xxxx. The version notes said it now was better at supporting XAVC-S so I'm all in. (Sony FDR-AX700 - shooting in 4K XAVC-S).
Now the program freezes at every turn; browsing, previewing, etc. "Not Responding" in the upper left of the window's title and there are no crash or error messages to jot down to troubleshoot.
I have tried a few Sony official sites but there aren't communities for Catalyst that I can find. I googled a few forums - nada about this not responding.
The advice about removing OpenCL is moot since I don't have it installed.
The previous version was running fine for as far as I delve into its features. Mostly i use it for shifting footage from the camera SD to hard drives and play a few seconds to preview.
Just scrolling the index of files and it will freeze.
Windows 10 - 16 GB RAM and 2 GB on a RTX 750 Ti card, all of which have been suitable for my needs with Catalyst Browse and Davinci Resolve 16.
