case for C-D SSD?

I am wondering how you guys store or transport CD's SSDs?
As they are slightly bigger than standard 2.5" hard drives I guess
they won't fit into standard boxes or cases. How do you handle them?
Thanks for any hint

thanks Gene, it's good idea! I will have a look whether one of the kids' sandwich boxes will fit also ;-)

When I ordered the battery adapter plate from Olof @ westsideAVstore.com there was a little pouch that held some parts (allen wrench, screws, etc) and my extra SSD slid right in. It's not providing any heavy protection but it's enough to block dust/things from the pins as well as scratches.

Yes we send those out with every order, I am also working on a folding wallet of foam with hard plastic reinforcement, like our Odyssey Hood material, with individual "pockets" for each SSD. Big enough to hold at last 6 SSD's and a a marking system for used, unused and striped for hi rate (this will not be necessary with new FW).

I have been looking for a good solution myself, but I have not found one yet, so I will try to make one maybe this weekend. It should be light with some foam cushioning fold up and water resistant. I will post here when I have a prototype.

Any additional thoughts?

Doesn't Pelican make a case that would fit an SSD or two? You can always buy their extra foam to create a perfect fit. I have quite a few Pelicans of different sizes and have been able to make a perfect, custom fit just using their optional extra foam (all purchased from B&H).
