Hello fellow DVX (or other cam) users. I thought I'd share the love a bit and give back to the community I hold so dear. I have for sale a fantastic Cartoni Gamma head made in 1999 and two Bogen 100mm ball tripods to use it on. The deal is I picked this head up off E-bay for an amazing price. I had the balance springs completely replaced and the head overhauled by Ste-Man/Cartoni in Burbank bringing it up to new specs. (I have the work order) It shows some cosmetic wear (Light brassing) but it is buttery smooth. This is a heavy duty Pro head capable of holding and balancing 36Lbs! The only thing is it's counterbalance was just a bit too strong for my tastes with the DVX/HVX. (about 10Lbs) It's actually a lot smoother than the Vinten Vision I replaced it with but I need the lighter combo. It comes with two sets of Bogen legs, a 515MVB 2 stage w/ground spreader (I literally bought these new from EVS last week) and a 3193 one stage heavy duty with mid level speader (These are a little used). Everything works perfectly, I am only looking to get out of this what I spent plus a buck or two for the trouble.
I am asking $2000.00 for the whole shebang, not including shipping.
The new price of this head alone is $3137.95

The two tripods are worth $775.00 new.
So this is litterally half of the new price and just serviced so it works in new condition.
If your in the LA area you are welcome to come see it before you buy.
Otherwise I will ship and you can pay me with Pay-pal or Money order.
If interested E-mail to: evingrant@sbcglobal.net
I will be putting this stuff on e-bay in one week if none of you are interested.
