hey guys, ive finally decided on a tripod.. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/740392-REG/Cartoni_F126_F126_FocusHD_System.html but i can not find the min and max height?? ive looked all over and nothing?? either im super blind or an idiot, but does anyone know the heights for this setup?

also your thoughts on this setup? i was looking at something under $1200, would last a very long timethat could support up to 12Kgs? (not that my rig will be that heavy, but better safe than sorry)
after reading the many posts on tripods, this seems to be the right one, if anyone knows of anything better, or if this one is S$%T.. please advise :)

Cheers

Happy Filming!!

61" when spreaders at shortest position, 36" widest spread and no extension, spreaders can be unclipped to get lower. No complaints, very smooth head.

Did you check the Cartoni website: http://www.cartoni.com/web/en/home. Quick check, it looks like the sticks alone are 55.5" which would put the cam lens at, I'm guessing, about 5.5' when you add the fluid head - not as tall as my Sachtler and might be a bit short for interviewing a 6' person.

hey yeah i was hoping it would be a little taller lol.. it does seem to be a good deal in that price range. thank you both for your help!!

after reading that http://www.dvuser.co.uk/content.php?CID=178, i changed my mind about cartoni, awesome design, pure performance. he highly recomend libec rs series for budget tripod http://www.dvuser.co.uk/content.php?CID=228

lol after reading both those reviews, i went back to the forums and started reading reviews again lol..8 hours later... everyone pretty much has the same thoughts accross the board though.. get a good one even if its expensive, look after it and you won't need another one again..
someone said that the libec was a good professional tripod for begginers who have not yet had the experience, to appreciate how a good tripod can be used at its full potential.. so i think i will change my mind again and go for the libec, cheers for that!! lol
when i pick my game up i will definately look at getting a better (maybe more expensive) tripod system, if i need it :).

Thanks guys!!
