Cool.
Could you let me know how you lit the green screen on how far it was from the windshield? BTS shot would be cool to if you have it. What did you do because it looked pretty real?
I have a Studio Green screen (I just call them Greens) hanging up and hung from the ceiling are some florescence, I wanted to see how they would light. Aint bad. It took me about 5mins to do everything, and that includes the 3mins of filming. I dropped the back seats put up my tripod. My SUV is Tinted out. So you cant see in at all. So I am surprised that I got that good of a shot I moved and then matched up my movements in post for the curves. Not bad I would say. I thought it looked pretty convincing for 5mins.
Edit: The bumper was about 16" away from the green. I had some spill cuase I did not light down the roof to the dash. But the spill filter helped with that. It was just a whim. but I did cause I haev not really seen anyone else do.
That is call Spill. And when you Key the Green out it will sometimes key that out spills that you may not want to key. This is not lit for perfection. Just a quick set up. Also I did not spend more than 5mins keying either.
Its cool.. to improve it, I'd sujest flickering the lights and even playing with color filters so that the light coming into the car through the wndshiled kind-off gets closer to reality.
Roman - It was not a real set up. Running a manual or motor fan in front of a light is a given when trying to pull off on a real shoot. This was just a let say 10min test.
