Car & Driver shoot w/ FS100

Did my first professional shoot with the FS100 late last year, 1 of 2 shooters (plus some producer shooting as well). C&D brought all the gear and we started rolling after about 30 minutes of "get familiar" time. Very run and gun and fall and ER trip (long story) but enjoyed my time with the wee sensitive brick. Lenses were Nikon 17-35 and 24-70. Overall liked the function, hated the CPM shoulder rigs C&D brought, hated their ikan monitors, and wound up just running it naked the whole time. Craned it upside-down (held by the carry handle as far as my arms could reach) for a few somewhat-high-angle shots. Biggest gripes were no ND and the position of the audio switches, such that it seemed every time I flipped the monitor around I wound up knocking off the XLR audio.

Also some footage from GoPro's (should've been more daring, but they weren't mine), one ~1000mm shot with my GH2 (closeup head-on shot of the crash), and plenty from IIHS's cameras (various high speed digital, 16mm film, and a few HVX's) plus archival galore.

That is cool. I like that kind of stuff. I bet it was pretty exciting.

Let me ask you, I am monitor shopping right now and was looking at an Ikan monitor. What kind did CD bring and what did you not like about it?
