Car Charger?

Where can I find a good car charger for Panasonic batteries? I need to use my solar panel to charge with 12v DC. Panasonic told me they don't make one.

Your best bet is to purchase an AC inverter. You can get a relatively cheap ones up to 300w at radioshack. Then simply plug your regular battery charger to the inverter.

An inverter is a very interesting idea, but I believe that at low power (my solar panel sends out 26Watts at 12V) the efficiency is not very good. But it would allow me to use my regular AC chargers without needing to also carry DC chargers.

Comments on efficiency from anyone who knows?
