Capturing with the dvx

hey guys, ive been recently capturing with my dvx, people say its bad, people say ill be fine.....If i contintue to do this for a bit, whats the worst that could happen, and how much would it be to fix? or is it covered in warranty?

Hey COMO!! I would recomend NOT TO CAPTURE with your DVX only because tapes can carry dirt into the heads and after hundreds of hours of capturing on them it will eventually cause more wear and tear to the heads in the long run and more frequent head cleanings. Don't forget!! Don't re-record on used tapes either... bad idea!!
