anyone have a work flow for capturing footage with this deck using avid express pro hd?

we have 24p dvcpro tapes from varicam that we are trying to capture...

we are having a hard time getting this to work for some reason....any help would be greatly apreciated!

BTW- im posting this before i have searched the forums...which i am doing now...just wanted to get somethign started...we are kinda in a rush...

What kind of symptoms are you getting? Is it just not capturing? Error message? Etc.

At this point I haven't a clue. I did some searching on that deck and pretty much everyone says it's fussy at best, but there are a few people who have reported getting it to work with Xpress Pro.

Is there any more message with that error 9? Anything that might give me an idea or something to research?
