I've read that if I record in 24p, I should capture my footage as 30 fps, and then open my project onto a 24p timeline and render it to achieve true 24p. When I do this, I end up getting trails behind objects that move more quickly (a car about 150 feet away traveling around 25mph at full zoom). Was what I read about capturing wrong (I read it on a forum, but I forgot what site)? Should I have just captured it as 24 fps in the first place?
