Capturing Problems

I have searched the manual and forum but haven't been able to find an answer to my question.

We tried capturing a couple scenes from the computer to the camera (100A) but for some reason the LCD was blue and wouldn't show what was going through the firewire. We were able to go from the cam to the comp with the same connection and we were on VCR mode. Is there a menu setting that would keep the camera from reading what the comp is sending out? (we tried on a PC and a Mac...same problem so it must be the cam) Thanks for your help!

Re: Capturing Problems

Some cameras in Europe don't allow input of DV data (some type of tax issue)
Make sure camera is in VCR mode and your cable is good.

Re: Capturing Problems

are you just trying to record from playing it back on the NLE or printing to tape. I believe printing to tape is the only way to open the firewire in reverse.

Re: Capturing Problems

Check your camera settings for the DV input/output. Although things should work, sometimes making the exact setting is the difference. That setting may help.
