capturing problems timecode settings

Hi everybody,
I'm always having problems with capturing of my tapes from the DVX. When I try to capture for example a full 60 Minutes tape Final Cut is making me several clips due to different errors (timecode break mostley I think)
I checked all the prefernces in Final Cut and software doesnt seem to be the cause of the problem.
Now someone told me that I have to check the settings on the camera how the timecode is written - Under "Recording Setup" But I'm not sure what settings I'd have to change.

I'll be starting to shot an important project this week and the clients will get the master tapes and I dont want to deliver him soemthing which will cause problems in capture.
So any advice on this would just be great!

The errors I am describing are not only occuring during recording breaks (also during continuous filming)

I hope I am describing the problem correctly - I am German - living in Berlin - so I hope my english wording is describing my problems correctly.

thank you so much,

Werner

English is fine... I understand everything. What format are you shooting, is the question? 24PA, 24P, or 30i or 60i??

Also, what are you using to capture? your DVX, another camera, or a deck?

Hi thank you - I am shooting on 25 p (Pal version)
I am capturing into final cut from my DVX.

A guy from panasonic suggested that I have to check the recording setting for the timecode before recording. But he didnt give me any specifics. And I just dont understand whats in the manual.
