Capturing Presets for 24P and 24Padvanced

Hello,

This is my first time using a dvx100b, and I am now in the capture stage after shooting 22 hours of footage for a feature.

I've come across a dilemma, because I just realized that about half the footage was shot in 24p mode, while the other half was shot in 24p Advanced.

I am using Final Cut Pro and I understand that capturing the 24pA should be done with the DV NTSC Advanced (29.97 with pulldown removed) capture preset.

I was wondering if I can use the regular DV NTSC capture preset (non-advanced) for the footage that was captured in regular 24p mode to get the same look as the 24pA footage without additional processing after capturing?

Also, is there any way to tell if a tape was shot in 24p or 24pA? None of the tapes were marked and I am trying to go by memory. Oy!:Drogar-BlackEye(DBG

Obviously, some beginner mistakes here. I appreciate any guidance from the pro's out there.
