capturing issue

End of Fall

I'm using a DVX100a, shot 24pA and I tried to log and capture it. I put the DVX on to VCR mode and I rewinded the tape. I hit the button to capture and it doesn't do anything. This has only been occurring today, I captured yesterday fine and today it doesn't work. Actually technically speaking I captured perfectly fine today and I never shut FCP down. I shot some test footage with the LEX @ 24pA and now it wont capture. What could be wrong, I thought the fire wire cable but I'm getting a picture in FCP..

If you haven't shut FCP down, have you still disconnected the camera? Sometimes when you disconnect the deck from FCP, it screws up the FW communication. Try quitting FCP and relaunching it.

I shut it down, I restarted the computer, I turned on & off the computer and unplugged the wire. I turned the HD on and off, I'm clue less....

Yep, I just edited the LEX footage so you can see the improvement of how sharp my footage is compared to the past LEX footage.

Also I'm having issues with my 105mm, i can't control the f-stop...
