Hi there,
I have some corrupted clips that I posted about http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=119362 and I'm wondering if I can capture from the Firestore to get at the working portions of them.
I tried using FCP, but it says there have been dropped frames and stops the capture after only a few seconds. As far as I can tell this is happening on the undamaged clips as well.
I tried several different options in terms of frame rates and Firewire options, but no go.
I shot 720QTPN on a V3 Firestore. I'm capturing to a Mac Pro 2x dual core w/ 3gb ram and a 7200rpm internal sata scratch disk.
Is this possible? What am I doing wrong? If not, how can I get the working footage out?
Thanks.
