Capturing from DVD-RW

I have lots of footage that I want to edit but it was filmed w/ a Sony handycam that records onto DVD RW. Does anyone know how I transfer this into Vegas 5? Thanks, Tim.
 
You can probably drag 'n' drop the files right onto the timeline. I don't know what format that Sony records in, but DVD-compliant .vob files can be dropped straight onto the timeline in Vegas.
 
Plug your DVD player into your DVX....Then plug up your DVX to your computer by firewire or however you capture video..... I go into to premiere. When i go to capture I roll the dvd, and it feeds right through the DVX into the capture window... Just record it from there. Works great for me.
