Capturing DV through Firewire- Set-Up Question

Hi,
I'm shooting DV to tape on the HVX. I'm shooting 480i 24p SQUEEZ. What settings should I use in FCP's timeline and capture window? When I capture it doesn't seem to make a difference whether I use Anamorphic or not (once I put it on the timeline), and I've been assuming I shouldn't have to use the Advanced Pulldown. When I put the footage in the timeline it all has a green bar on top showing that it needs to be rendered.
I'm also trying to combine the footage in a timeline with crappy cameras that don't shoot 24p. Is this ok? Do I have to change settings when capturing?

I just did this (but I used 60i to mix w/another camcorder). Capture into FCP using NTSC Anamorphic (I presume you are not PAL). The clips show as 4:3 in the Viewer but will show 16:9 or letterbox when you output to MOV. You can always try a short test clip to verifiy.
