Capturing Audio Through RCA Inputs

I haven't done this in years, I usually use a mic but I need to capture some audio through a soundboard and can't figure out how to get audio in through the RCA connections. Thanks for the help.

The RCAs can only be used when in VCR mode, and you have to have a video signal present (either on the composite or s-video jacks).

The RCAs are not available when in camera mode; you can only use the XLRs when in cam mode.

You could take a trip to radio shack and get the proper adapters/cables. xlr to 1/4inch....or whatever your board has. I've done a lot of odd things getting signals from one place to the other!
Hope you can work it out.....
