Capturing a scrren grab

When I try, its always a low rez murky little thing. Whats the secret to grabbing a high rez still from the time line that can be used for promo material?

im not sure about speed edit. but in FCP you use the export function and choose a still frame option. then take that into an image editor like photoshop and convert it to square pixels aspect.
