Capturing 24pa

I shot in 24PA on dxv100b. I use premier 6.5 . Can i capture the footage on my little canon elura 50 so not to kill the panisonic heads?

also...in premeire, what sort of timeline would i user so not to have it be jittery? would just a normal 29.97 timline be ok?

It's fine to use a cheap miniDV camera for capture. I do it all the time. If Premiere has a 24p timeline, use that.

If you have Premiere Pro 2.0, like in Vegas, it doesn't matter what timeline you capture in.

I have premiere pro, but i prefer 6.5 will any timeline work for 24p advanced?
