captured video to one Project... anyway to transfer that video to another?

Ok let's say I have a project named "project 1" and I transferred/captured video into "project 1" and then now I have the video successfully in my hard drive somewhere in the Avid media files folder or "OMFI" folder... well let's say I have another project called "project 2" and I need footage that is in "project 1." Is there any way I can get the footage from project 1 and transfer it to project 2? Or do I have to get out the tape deck, the minidv, locate where it's at, and then recapture it to project 2?

From file menu of project, do "open bin" navigate to the other project and open bin. It will now be associated with that project as well in a folder called "other bins".

Or you can go to the Media Tool (under tools menu) select the project from which you want to grab material, and all the drives - results will show up in what looks like a new bin window. Drag desired clips into local bin of project.

Hi Michael,

I tried going to tools >> medial tools. But it just shows me all my harddrives and project names. I click on any of the project names and nothing happens.
