Capture Tool issue

At my job, I got a problem with the capture tool. We got video and audio signal but I can't punch in the video for capture. (or can't select the video layer). We tried different project settings from SD to HD. Is it possible when the program was build by some Technicians, they didn't give me acces to this particular option?

Do you have a target drive selected and does it have enough space for the format being captured?

Yes, we got the target drive and had enough spaces.

The media we tried was sending on BitStream instead of PCM for the Audio. We changed many times a DVD player who was able to change the Audio output information. Afterwards we would be able to select channels that we wanted!
