Capture To Disk issue on lost connection

Okay so I was shooting the fireworks last night when someone walked and tripped on my cord watching what I was doing - Asking "Are you with the news" lol Anyways, the person must have tripped on known my cord from the camera and now I have all this footage about 10mins and its not even opening! (see attached picture) Is there a way of salvaging this situation?

I was capturing to Final Cut - The footage was for CNN and a couple other network stations. LOL - No biggie I guess - I had the P2 Thanks GOD! cause I got what I needed - However better footage was being captured to MBP through FCP. 1080/30p

I am sure someone else has had an similar experience. Shooting and wham you lose connection when capturing to disk.
