Capture Resolution?

So I just got a DVX100b yesterday. After shooting some test footage, I hooked up the firewire and captured the video onto my computer (using Sony Vegas).

The captured file's resolution was 720x480. I was wondering if this was the maximum resolution? If not, how can I make it bigger?

That is the only resolution for your DVX's footage. It's standard NTSC DV.
