Capture Pixel Size Problems

Im new to digital and have been using the DVX for a few months now. I see the properties of the captured files say 720 x 480 but the video looks more like 500 pixels wide. Im using the trial of Premiere Pro 1.5 for capture but Windows capture program yields the same results. Things look good on the field monitor so I assume its not camera settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think I'm looking for an answer to a similar question. The video looks great in the side viewfinder. And, when I capture it into Final Cut Express, it looks fine in 50% size. But, when I increase the size to 100%, it is very "pixelated" (not sure if that's a word or not, but the square pixels are very noticable). I'm hoping there is something that I did wrong with the capture or the FCE settings and not with the shoot.

So, any help for either of us would be greatly appreciated!!
