Capture Now Question

Hi Everyone,

I've been doing a lot of behind-the-scenes videography/editing and since there is so much footage to go through, I use the 'Capture Now' function and just capture the whole hour-long tape in its entirety.

However, a problem I've been constantly noticing is that when I go to watch the footage in Final Cut (after it's been captured) the picture and audio are out of sync. I'd say this probably happens 50% of the time.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

That's why the default is set at 30 minutes I hear. Have you tried setting an in point at the beginning of the tape and an end point at the end and logging/caputring that way? It should keep the time code in line, and it only takes about 2 more minutes to do.
