Capture from a VCR

I know this was disscussed before but I can't seem to find it when I search. I want to play a vcr tape through my camera DVX-100 not A and capture it using vegas. I know there is camera setting I need to change, can anyone tell me what it is?

I can't remember the DVX setting, but you have to uncheck "Enable DV Control" in the Vegas capture utility.

I am also trying to do this, except capture it into avid. is there anything you have to change in avid?
