Capture and editing 24p advance

We shot with the DVX 100A in 24p advance and the project is going to be a DVD, we would like to know:

1. What is the correct way to capture?
2. What is the correct way to edit?
3. Should I capture in 24 and have my sequence in 24 or should I do it all in 30?

I've tried different ways but in 24 the movement seems strange and in 30 it asks for rendering.

Sony DVD architect can import 24p mpeg2. Read Sony's instructions on going from 24pA to 24p DVD:

I did a 24p dvd last weekend, just some stuff I shot in the backyard as a test. The dvd looked great and the players internal pulldown functioned well.

I use encore. Can encore do this same thing? And is this absolutly neccesary? only a preference to make things look a little better.....
