Captain Fundraiser - OFFICIAL THREAD

LOL yeah... probably right ;) But in our made up land of Hero City... every newscast uses the DVX as their primary camera :)

And a credit roll with my name prominently displayed somewhere within it!!

Great news, this is coming along nicely. It's a lot of fun and people will enjoy watching it!

Looks like the final budget for Captain Fundraiser is

$3,068.21

This is with paying the actors per day, as well as all of the crew.

The film will end up having about a 10 minute TRT.

This was a 3 day shoot, so it's about 1k per day.

NEWS UPDATE!

Matt is sending me draft 2 of the score tonight... this thing should be finished by the end of the week, and available for viewing!

It's done.... Tonight I'll be having a special release time for it... limited to the first 10 people first... then I may make some tweaks if I get a lot of specific comments... then it'll be released publically!

Nice work Brandon. My favorite parts were the Batman-like elements, like the transitions with the spinning background behind the CF logo, and the sound effects during that and the rock, paper, scissors game.

Good work Brandon. It was pretty funny and entertaining while still getting across the message that fund raisers are needed for extra curricular activities. All the graphics were great also especially the logo with the spinning background.

David, you were hilarious, great job.

A few Complaints: I think the audio was a little hot sometimes and even though it was funny seeing David in front of the mountains in his super hero pose, I think it could have been a touch shorter.

Hey thanks for the comments everyone! And Jeremy... I do agree on that final final shot being a tad shorter, and I do plan on making that change... due to some craziness at work... the DVD going out to the cast/crew has been delayed... so it gives me some time to make that change :) Thanks again!

Hey Brandon,
Excellent job. Very well shot, directed and edited. I'm sure the fundraising company will love it.
