Cape Black

I recently purchased a Letus Extreme for my DVX100b, and I decided to test it out. Cape Black is an area where my friends and I go to throw bonfires, but if you travel deeper within Cape Black there is much more. Too bad they are building a highway literally right next to this.

I just have one question, is there anyway that I could make this video with better quality, other than using Magic Bullet's HD software?

Here's some screen-shots

hey Joe...i see ur back with the warm tones...but this one iz much better :) not overexposed and clean. i like it. seems u have interlacing issues. maybe if u told the board the editing software they could help u. I cant lol..cuz i'm new to it...but when i export CS3 seems to deal with it...its already checked as progressive footage.

Anyway nice job..ur LEX and all :)

Yes, definitely some interlacing issues. As soon as I figure out how to fix it I will re-upload this. Thanks!

Oh yes, and the editing software that I use is Adobe Premiere Elements. Any ideas on how to fix the interlacing issue?

sorry i cant help as i'm not familiar with the program (not even familiar with mine yet lol)..i;m sure the others will chime in though

What do you mean by better quality? I think it might look a bit nicer if pulled out some of the yellows, and change the darkness in the mids. I guess that might be a personal opinion though.

As for interlacing issues, I think you need to re-compress with another codec, and check off "De-interlace source video" For example, I use Quicktime pro, export as H.264 and check off that box under "size" settings. That's how I do it at least.
