Hi All, I thought I would try the interval recording function of my HPX370 today, nice clouds rolling thru. I read the book and set up the camera, hit “record” and stepped back. Everything looks fine, “I-Rec” was flashing red, the, tally lights were flashing, TC was counting up. OK thats enough, I hit the “record” to stop recording...nothing happened! Everything was still flashing, TC still counting. I tried to access the menu...no luck...tried holding the “record” button down longer...no luck, finally I turned the power switch off and that stopped it. It recorded everything just fine. I tried several times, all with the same result. Has anyone experienced this? What am I doing wrong?

I don't know for certain on the 370 but on most of the other AG cameras you can stop interval recording using the same button that stops playback in playback mode.
Once again Barry, you are the man. That worked like a charm. I think that's the one button I didn't push. Reading the manual it says "Press the STOP button to stop recording" I interpreted that to mean the "record" button, I didn't even consider
the playback stop button. Thanks again

Ya, I did some interval recording a few weeks ago and I took from the manual to hit the record button to stop it. But it never worked and I always ended up powering down to get out of IR mode. Good know about the stop button.

I had the same experience and we are just so used to having the rec button to start and stop things but I can see the logic as once interval recording is commenced it is good that the rec buttons are disabled so they can't be accidentaly knocked to stop the recording.
I used to switch the camera off too but now I know how to do it properly.
