Can't log & transfer clips longer than 5 mins?

Hola,

I'm running Final Cut Pro 6.0.6 on an iMac 24 with my HMC152 (Aus version of HMC150).

My one and only problem is I get the dreaded red exclamation point when trying to import any clips longer than 5 mins.

I changed the prefs from ProRes to AIC with no luck and I have 2TB of disk space.

Any suggestions?

Seems odd. The only time I ever had that problem is when the hard disk had errors (faulty).

Does this happen on *all* clips longer than 5 mins?

Does it ever happen on clips *shorter* than 5 mins?

Are you transferring from the card or from a folder on the HDD? Have you tried the other way?
