Can't import HD file into DVD SP4

I outputted a 1920x1080 file through compressor using the HD H.264 10.3 Mbps setting. When I play the file in QT it looks great, so everything is fine. But when I import into DVD SP4, the only thing that comes in is the audio. But the weird thing is that HD file says it is 157 MB on my desktop (it's a 2 minute clip). When I try to import it, it shows up in my assets as a QT audio file, but the file size is the same.

Mt DVD SP4 Preferences are set to HD-DVD in the project and 1920x1080 in the general

Any clue as to what the heck I am doing wrong?
 
Thanks David. Not sure what you mean by "lower h.264 encoding" though. I tried doing it at the 90 minute quality instead of the 60. Is that what you meant? I didn't make a difference. Any other settings I can check?
