Can't get Zacuto EVF to work with the F3

I can't get my Zacuto EVF to work with my F3. Both are on the latest firmware. I have hdmi and hd-sdi selected on the F3 and the F3 preset selected on the EVF but the EVF keeps saying the resolution is 480p. I've tried googling it but haven't found anything. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it.

Check you output setting, 24 psf /60i

If I'm recording to an external recorder through the hd-sdi will that effect it?

I had the same problem and Zacuto said it was because the Z-Finder is unable to read a correct signal. If you're outputing 24psf then the Z-Finder cannot read the signal as it does not do psf. I was able to get around this by running our Z-Finder through our external recorder which converted the psf signal to progressive. Which external recorder are you using?

Samurai, so I'd have to get a hd-sdi-hdmi converter. Would be great if things just worked.

Your ext recorder should be be connected to the dual link SDI A and your Zacuto to HDMI with a 60i setting in the output of the camera. I don't know if I am missing something here.

Exactly what i do and works fine. Changing the output to 60i does not affect the sdi-A stream in my experience.
