Can't get original Slog after installing v1.4

I bought the CBK-RGB upgrade awhile ago and it was installed on my F3 when I did the V1.4 upgrade..
I just noticed that I cannot seem to access my original Slog options in the standard menu despite having turned the PP version of Slog off. Never really checked before.

So I put the SxS card that came with CBK-RGB to remove and then re-install Slog and it is not accepting my password. The only option is Remove so presumably its in there.
Unless I have forgotten my password, ( unlikely ) or somehow got my card confused with a friends then this is weird

This is concerning.

When I read the OP my camera was still on v1.3, and I had the CBK-RGB01 installed. I decided to go ahead and "Remove" the option back to the original SxS-1 card it came on, and then applied the v1.4 Update. I then reinstalled the option. My dual link menu has all options available.

I realize this doesn't solve your problem, nor is it entirely scientific, but it may be useful to other readers.

That said, it's worth noting that v1.4 adds the capability for passwords to be alphanumeric - in prior firmware versions only numbers could be used. Perhaps there's a bug in the password firmware?

I'm still pissed off about having to use the v2.1 Sony XDcam browser after going to v1.4 firmware. One of the old XDCAM browser software versions I was using showed you clip info like shutter speed, gain, ISO, and even color temperature. Now I don't get any of that! bah hum bug.

I installed 1.4 straight onto my F3 without removing the CBK-RGB upgrade first. Didn't think about it, to be honest. No issues and all the original S-Log options are still available. I just tested my password by removing the CBK-RGB and re-installing and it still works fine. ???

Same boat as PaulReam, did the firmware install directly without removing, and I am still able to remove afterwards.

I installed 1.4 directly over what I can now say was a beta version of 1.4, which was installed directly over 1.3. I did not remove the CBK-RGB updgrade and I still have no problem with accessing either S-Log or a picture profile specifying S-Log gamma.

Thanks guys,
At least I can use the PP version of the software while I get to the bottom of this. Just as a check though. We were supposed to put ur own password in right, it wasn't provided on the card. Its possible I just can't remember the password correctly or that a friend who also has an F3 accidently swapped cards with me.

I thought the password was originally entered when you installed the CBK-RGB firmware - i.e. it stays with the firmware and isn't connected to the card?

Whoever installs the CBK-RGB01 on the camera generates the password. The password is required to remove the option.

I think the password is tied to the camera, not the card. I think you can uninstall to a different card than you installed from, in which case it was all the more important to make sure your $4000 option wasn't "stolen" by some 2nd AC on set with his own SxS card.
