I received my canon FD to M4/3 lens adapter for my af-100 today and I can't get the aperture to adjust with the ring on my FD 50mm 1.4 or my 60-300 it just stays the same? what's up with this?

I use the rainbow adapters. There shouldn't be any interference from the adapter itself. It simply places the lens the correct distance from the sensor plane. When the lens is off the camera, what do you see? You should notice whether light is transmitting to the sensor when the lens is off. Make sure you aren't using any nds and that your ISO is not set too low or your shutter too high. I am just thinking off the top of my head here. Double check to make sure the lens check option is off. Perhaps this function wasn't saved the first time. Good Luck.

Make sure the lens clicks in to the adapter completely, otherwise the aperture won't work. I had the same problem with one of my FD's.

I used a trick to unlock the aperture in canon fd lenses and now it won't mount :( but the manual aperture works. what the hell.
