HELP!!!!!!!!! where is Progressive Mode and 24P?
Hi There
I'm new to this forum and new to Panasonic DVX100A, I normally use a Sony PD 150 or 170, but I want to experience the joys of the Progressive 24P wonders on the DVX100A. I hired a camera today and have an important film shoot tomorrow and have been working on this camera for a few hours now and have scanned the instruction manual quite a few times now. The manual intimates about Progressive Mode and 24P but does not how you how to get into it. And I am dumdfounded how to get into it.
I feel like I've been through every menu setting on the camnera but cannot find a 24P progressive mode. Or even a 30P setting like it suggests. All I can seem to get the camera into is 25P.
I am now wondering if this is because it is a camera set for Australian conditions with our PAL TV system and PAL's 25 frames per seconds. However everything I've read about this camera raves on and on about 24p and Progressive.
I am so confused and lost after several hours, can someone please put me out of my misery?
I just dont get it? Where is the 24p and Progressive setting or is there no such thing for Australian models.
I am seriously running out of time, what I thought would be a great step forward is turning in to a nightmare. I sold the client on the 24p progressive benefits and now I cant deliver. Looks like I will have to shoot in Mini DV pal at 25 fps unless one of your wonderful DVX100 forum followers can help me.
Any thoughts
Regards
