Can't copy MAGIC LANTERN to CF card!?? How do i get this on my 5d?

So when I plug in my 5DMKII, I cannot copy files to the drive.... Is magic lantern only for people who have a card reader? Is it not possible to just copy the files to your CF card right from your computer plugged into the 5D?

Totally want to try this with my zoom n4h i picked up today.

yes you need card reader since canon disabled mass storage on DSLR's.
