I had this camera for over a year without problems. But now I'm getting this error.

I am in M picture mode and my picture Profile is set to off [PP off] as it should be for stills.
The only time I am able to change my ISO for stills is when I have a Picture Profile enabled, such as enabling [PP2] > Stills

I dont get what is going on. How do I fix this?

*I even did a factory reset but it doesnt seem to be resetting everything. Its still not fixing the issue

If you're using S-Log2/3, the native ISO is 800 and you can't go any lower.

Not sure if you're saying that you aren't in S-Log2 and it's still saying that, but that error is mentioning you are, so you either do have S-Log2 enabled or the camera is breaking down.

I understand that the native ISO is 800... for video.
But I am in photo mode with the Picture Profile disabled and it is telling me as if it was enabled.

The only way for me to use photo mode is to enable PP# and set the Gamma to anything other than SLog

That means the camera thinks S-Log2 is enabled so something is not right.

Actually just googled your issue and it seems like a few people are having trouble with that...just happens one day and nothing helped.

Its as if it thinks [PP off] has been changed to SLog and as a result im unable to change it or reset it.

However, when I toggle between the different Picture Profiles, I can see that the off is actually off. The image isnt flatter or anything. It just disables my ISO from going below 800 as it says its on SLog2 when its not

The malfunction appears to only happen when no PP is selected at all.

But having any PP enabled 1/2/3/etc. without S-Log2/3 works fine.

It seems like a bug.

For me, it would be a minor issue that wouldn't really make a difference, but nevertheless it's not right and you should have it fixed if it's affecting your results/work.

Well, this issue happened as soon as I stepped on site for my job today. I spent like half an hour trying to fix it and it just caused problems.
I did end up shooting with a picture Profile, but im not sure if it will effect the image EVEN though I am shooting in raw.

Either way, I do plan on upgrading my camera in a few months or so, so I dont want to be selling a camera that has a bug

So Ive been taking some photos to test this issue.
It seems as though it is burning the look onto my image EVEN THOUGH I am shooting in RAW.

When I import my image into Lightroom I can see the raw image and then a split second later the image changes into the look that was applied in camera from the picture profile.

I can't even contact Sony because I need to type in my cameras model number into the message but its not working.
Extremely frustrating!
Any other way to contact Sony?

Any other way to contact Sony?

How about a good old-fashioned phone call?

I mean what are the options? Internet, phone or walking into a building and speaking with a human, haha.

(Also make sure LR isn't set to apply a preset look to all new imported photos (if applicable). Sometimes that happens.
