Canon XLH1

Asking price for the XLH1 is $7500. I am also including for free a 1.6x extender (a $350 value) and a EQ-XL1 Equalizer Windscreen ($120 value).

NEW PRICE: $7300

You pay shipping and insurance (if you want it...I'd recommend it)

Disjecta, I'm very interested, but I'm also in the market right now for the a1. I would love to get the H1 but my wife would kill me right now. I hope you find a good home for it.

Dropping the price to $7100. There are some marks on the evf plastic. I called Canon and it will cost $60 to replace so I think my additional $200 drop will adequately cover this. The marks do not interfere with the functionality of the camera in any way. They are also not noticeable when looking through the viewfinder.

Disjecta-

Sorry to hijack the point of your thread but...I think its safe to say out of respect for your work people follow your decision making closely. So if I may ask why you are selling? Not as someone currently in the market to buy but someone who is curious if you are off to greener pastures or are looking to another cam?

Rick

Hi Rick,

I love the camera and the image it records but the form factor is a little cumbersome for my grip and rip in the field style. I also don't like the attention it garners me. I also need some money in the bank :)

I'm going to get an XHA1 when I sell this one.

Can you share the reasons why your getting hte A1 vs. H1 besides price? I'm suprised your getting rid of it since what you've done with it thus far has been great.

Kyle, it's just the form factor, like I said. I also have a glidecam 4000 and the XLH1 is a little heavy for it.

I am also willing to trade for cash and XHA1...
