Canon XL-2 vs dvx200 on regular 30" HD TV

First, it HVX200 and not dvx200.
Also Canon XL-2 is a Standards Definition camera, HVX200 is a High-Definition camera. Ofcourse the hvx200 will look better (If the HD TV is really a HD TV)

If you ment Canon XL-2 and DVX100 (Standards Definition), then they will look mostly the same

right HVX200

sorry and thank you

will they look same on widescreen?

Alot of HD TV only take the HD signal but put it into a Standards definition display. Alot of people got screwed with that.

thank you.

how about 24p and dynamic range?

I personally can't answer much to that question since I do not have experience neither of them.

But in term of resolution, hvx will look better on a read HD monitor.
