I am going to be using a Canon XH-A1 HD camera for a shoot this weekend. I'm an editor, not a DP, so I was wondering what frame rate I choose. I'm assuming 60i. Also, I'm wondering what I choose for my project setting in Avid. My final deliverable is a DVD and a compressed version for the web. Since I'm just burning to a DVD, do I even need to shoot in HD? Will it look better on a HDTV if I do? Also, how should I compress for the web to make it look its best but also download fast?
