[FS: General] Canon XH A1 Camcorder & Firestore FS-C 60GB Hard Drive

[frogman]

I'm selling a used Canon XH-A1 video camera along with several accessories for a complete tapeless work-flow with a starting bid of $1,800.00. Included in the eBay auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140516638271):

• Focus Enhancement Firestore FS-C 60GB Hard Drive with extra battery and holster
• Canon WD-H72 Wide-Converter, lens hood, and storage bag
• Vari-Zoom tripod controller for Canon XHA1 (controls focus and record/stand-by on Firestore)
• Extra Camera Battery
• Camera battery charger, cables, and remote

This camera and Firestore Hard Drive are in great shape. I'm the original owner of both the camera and the Firestore. I used the camera tape heads on one shoot before investing in the Firestore, which saves a ton of time ingesting the footage into your computer as an M2T file. The camera lens has been protected from day 1 with a UV filter. I typically used the camera and Firestore with the Vari-Zoom controller and it was a great capture set-up. The Firestore offers about 4.5 hours of recording time, retro cache recording, simultaneous recording between tape and hard drive, Windows and Mac compatibility.

As for the wide converter, I purchased it used from a colleague of mine and it has been used only once on a shoot. It's in fantastic shape and comes with a storage bag.

I have just purchased a Panasonic HMC150 and a Nikon D7000, so I'm selling this gear. Please contact me with further questions. Whoever purchases the gear will be very pleased with the performance and reliability of this set-up.
