Canon user thread - post your pictures here

You guys have some amazing work so it's a bit intimidating but here it goes. All of these shots were on my t2i and 50mm 1.8
Your first image is fantastic! Love the colors and the contrast of form between the smooth, creamy background and the crisp, prickly leaves.

Ann Arbor had an extremely foggy morning and I snapped a few shots from my bike on my ride in to work today.

Richard, your first is great. I think the pink white and green from the one below helps it, but it is a great photo no matter how you see it.

Great lapse Ryan. I was hoping to do something similar but it was cloudy in my area :(

Here are some selects from a shoot I had this past weekend. I haven't had the time to post-process most of them yet, so save for some minor tonal adjustments and edge softening in lightroom, these (except for the first one) are unphotoshopped.

Shot on a Canon 7D, 35mm f2 and 50mm 1.4.

Ryan, can you tell me how you constructed this image?

Well, after using my trusty compass and an online moon trajectory calculator, I set up my tripod in just the right position, hooked up a wired remote timer set to take a picture every 6 minutes...

And quickly realized the moon was moving WAY to fast to get it. After the first ten minutes the moon was totally out of frame.

So I just constantly re-adjusted my framing to get the moon centered (for sharpness), and selected, copied/pasted, and arranged the pics in photoshop on a black background :Drogar-Love(DBG): This was done quickly late last night. I'll spend a little more time on a full rez version adding a very slight outer glow and other minor details. Oh, and I zoomed in on them a bit cause my longest lens was a 135mm

Sticks lying over the snow. Long exposure used to create the look. Some fill and contrast enhancement were tweaked in Lightroom. No photoshop.

This is a still life I took a few months ago. Other then color correction in Adobe Camera RAW, there is no editing. Shot on a Canon Rebel XT, 50 mm, F/ 1.8, ISO 100.

The day after lower Michigan's "Snowocalypse". (it wasn't really that bad, 6"-11" depending on where you lived) I walked over the lake, then hike around the island to my starting point to get the shot of the footprints.

Nice shot Mike. Is that looking east or west? Nice detail in the snow. We were down in the 6-8 inch range here in the Toledo area.
