ahhh, yeah, now i see that. it only took me a billion tries and a clear discription from the photographer...

well, its a great looking car. we dont have those here. i have to get to Europe someday....

nothing. I have been scouring my pictures from last weekend and there just isn't anything interesting. They all look so blah. But, I'm sure I'll take my cam with me where ever I go on the 4th. I'm getting antsy.

The following words sound a bit harsh. Well, just don´t take it too seriously.^^

In #1 the comp is nice but the colors are too exaggerated for me (huh, I just said "follow your heart"....).

#2 the comp needs improvement... colors look nice.

#3 the comp...hm. And not very sharp, is it?

#4,#5 are cool.

The fire is awesome.
 
Pt...I totally respect your opinion. So, I don't take anything too harsh. I appreciate any input you may or may not have.

The first pic...I actually didn't saturate it at all. The pool water looks like that and the girl is incredibly photogenic with matching blue eyes.

But the other pics...#2..I can totally change the comp. The other pics...not much can be done....I recomp pic 2 and see what you think...

Rick, what you did to those pics now is pretty good. :)

But in #2 I don´t like the position of her head. How she is looking, you know? You can´t change that anymore, of course. It was just my impression.

#3 looks good now but it´s just that his eyes are exactly on the center line of the pic. That doesn´t look very interesting.

pt or rlm (or anyone) just wondering how you go about putting borders around the pics (using Adobe). this would be very helpful to me! Thanks!
 
Using Adobe Photoshop? If so...

There might be a simpler way but I create a new white layer (File...New)...SELECT ALL, go to EDIT and click COPY. Then click on the photo...then go to EDIT and click PASTE. Then, making sure the solid layer is selected in your layers palette I go to EDIT, TRANSFORM, SCALE. Then I scale the layer to fit the picture perfectly. Then, by using the drag and drop function in the layers palette I move the photo so it is on top of the layer...(you will have to DUPE the locked version of the photo and use the unlocked version)...Once that layer is on top and viewable, make sure it is selected. Go to EDIT, TRANSFORM, SCALE, then scale the picture down a bit on all sides. Thats it.
