Canon T2i av cable

The Canon T2i comes with the av/composite cable.. can I use that to connect to a tv/monitor for live view? for ex. while in movie mode.

That's exactly what it is for.

it does disable the internal screen, however. So you can't run both. The external monitor will become your viewfinder.
