Canon/Sony Lanc remote for HVX?

Can anyone tell me if a Lanc remote designed for Sonys and Canons will work with the aux input on the HVX?

No - the HVX doesn't use LANC. You can get remote controls for the HVX but they have to be designed specifically for it (or for a DVX100B).
