On my way home from work a little bit ago (ugh, 3am)...i heard a Canon commercial on my local radio station, advertising the 7d and the T2i...in the commercial, all kinds of details were presented, like "AF" and selectable framerates and whatnot, and i wondered instantly: does the average radio listener know what the hell that stuff is? and when i said "AF", i mean the commercial was worded in lots of acronyms that WE all know, but how does this sell on the radio to an average listener? I was intrigued because what i was hearing was mostly tech specs....it was odd.
And by the way, i feel compelled to mention something that you may find weird about me when it comes to voice-only radio commercials. i CAN'T STAND the fact that breaths are edited out for voice-only commercials...seriously...if i can't hear breathing between statements, it really bothers me....i don't know why, but it makes me feel claustrophobic...moreso with radio in my car because it's very close range, unlike at home on tv, where it's sort of ambient. listen to a voice-only radio commercial at a decent volume in your car, and you might notice it next time.
random post, i know.
