Canon price drop upsets customers

There is no outrage, there is just one webpage looking for clicks. Clicks = money.

Next day there will be another "outrage" with another webpage looking for clicks = money.

The car I bought 10 years ago has lost 75% of its value! I'm outraged!
Cameras and computers depreciate quickly. It's not like real estate where the value might actually go up after a few years.

Make up for it by buying a 1TB hard drive, and pat yourself on the back for saving $1 million.

Because in the early 90's, a 1 GB hard drive cost $1000, and you can bet the government spent a ton of taxpayer money buying hard drives at that price.

Cameras are not investments.

If you can't make $4,000 on a camera in three years you have no business buying a camera.

The only people I can sort of understand this sentiment coming from are those that just bought the camera. But to them I ask, why in god's name are you buying a 3 year old DSLR?
